My Housemate and Other Stuff Away~

Calm down people. Seriously...

Well, today one of my housemate (korean) had his first ever allergic reaction. Rashes, itchiness, tearing, swollen tongoe, Fun stuff. However, he and his mates take it too seriously and panic, just like panic at the disco (lame, i know...). Anyhoo, after taking his pulse and auscultate his chest for any airway obstruction (woot woot), Im pretty sure this is a moderate or mild oral allergic reaction. Plus, its like 30 minutes after the first symptoms appeared so it cant be anapyhlactic reaction. However, due to the itchiness he insist on going to the hospital so off he go. Well, i guess in theory that is a right decision. I dont think it necessary though but who am i to decide....

Okay, enough about my housemate. Lets talk about book. Believe it or not, today is the first time I bought a newly released novel! I usually just buy a second hand book or borrowed from the library for this kind of stuff. But I have waited for a long time for the release of this novel, "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown for quite some time now. Well, time to read the book!

My Trip To IMAX, Transformers 2 And Megan Fox Away~

Warning, this post will not contain any kind of spoiler whatsoever so rest assure. Now proceed...

Been there, done that.

Yes guys, finally im able to Megan Fox.. wait, scratch that. i mean transformers in the whole new dimension. Movie in IMAX is just incredible, with fugging big picture and kick ass sound system, i felt like im in heaven (with megan fox? LOL). Dont worry dear, i still love u much more than megan fox ;).

Anyhoo, as i went there to redeem my tickets the line was already loooooooooooooooooooooooooong. The line is so long, the end of the line was outside of IMAX!! I have to wait like 30 minutes in the line before they open the cinema. Well, considering that this is the first day of screening (hell yeah!) and end of semester to most uni ppl, this kinda situation already been predicted. Worst part is, the seat for the movie is first come first serve basis so the earlier u line up, the better ur chance to sit at the middle (the best seat in da house). Unfortunately, i only get the seat 5 rows from the screen, but it still awesome!

The movie is much better from the first one. There is much more actions, explosions and robots whooping each other ass. wait, did i mention megan fox? With 2.5 hours of show time, there is no idle time and every scene is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Optimus prime is a total badass in this time around. He is so cool, he make me wanna scream like a girl everytime he on the screen LOL.

So yeah, if u guys are planning to come to sydney dont forget to watch Transformer 2 in IMAX. It worth every bucks.

Hee, skype is freakin awesome! I just realize that calling landline or mobile phone to those people in Malaysia using skype cost LESS than using Optus. Heck, AUD 0.075/minute to mobile and AUD 0.027/minute for landline is just too good to be true! I love teh interweb~

My Haematology, Case Write Up and Exam Away~

GOSH, WORK, WORK AND MORE WORK!

Well, not that i have the right to complain or anything but somehow b*tching bout it make me feel better LOL. Oh shi... i gotta back to work!

My Day @ Hospital Away~

Today was quite hectic. Woke up at 7.30am, went to anatomy lab at 9 and then to the hospital at 10. I have to do my case write up and hence need to take pt history and physical examination. Everything seems fine and dandy until BAM! A surgeon that doing her ward round appeared! Dun dun dunn!

She noticed us (me+my partner) and asked us to join her round ESPECIALLY when she know we already do quite some stuff with the patient she gonna attend. No reason to refuse right? WRONG! After finished talking and examining the pt, she look at us and start a pop quiz! These was some of the conversation recorded inside my brain....

S-surgeon,U-us,M-me, Mm-me in monolog mode, F-friend
S: So, u guys a 2nd year med student rite?
U:yeap
S:As u can see, this patient have this and this (Medical content is omitted for the sake of confidentiality and too tired to write). Can u explain why is that happening?

....
Mm: hell, why this doctor suddenly asked a question without warning! Oh no, she staring at me.. Calm down, look cool...

M: I think that happen because of this and this.
S:urm, ok. thats quite rite. so explain more.

Mm: Shit, there is more to it? Stop torturing me already! I dont mind if this is one on one situation but please dont put my on the spotlight with all this interns and nurses staring at me! Oh wait, let me give SOS signal to my friend.

Bep...Bip... Bep...
Fortunately, my friend get the SOS signal and help me.

After that, few more question being thrown in. LUCKILY, i can answer most of the question as i just read about them few days before! At least im not making fool of myself.... Satisfied, the surgeon moved to the next pt but my partner and i quickly escaped by using some trickery (we told her we have a lecture after this... which correct but not until 2 more hours but who give a damn!)

2 Hours later, i went to the lecture in RNC (hospital lecture hall) and endure 3 hours of lecture! Then i went home, have dinner and now writing this stuff. Life is great don't u think?
